ORGANIC THYME

Botanical Name: (Tymus vulgaris)
Olfactory note - Basic notes. [Much less volatile bring with them the pleasure of long duration. Harmonising, strengthening, calming, they reveal warmth and depth. They have a low frequency, dense with a warm, heavy, deep scent that leads to the earth.]
The essential oil of Thyme is extracted from: from the flowery tops.

Curiosity

A Greek legend tells of Ariadne weeping for having been abandoned by an ungrateful Theseus. The earth sprayed with the perfumed tears of Ariadne gave rise to the Thyme plant symbol of new vitality. Dionysius, attracted by the scent of these same tears, took her in marriage.

Description

Antibiotic - Taken orally (e.g. two or three drops in half a teaspoon of honey) is antibiotic. One of the most powerful remedies against bacterial infections affecting the urinary tract, respiratory system and intestine, in the presence of candidiasis, enterocolitis cystitis, leucorrhoea.

Antiparasitic - Diffused (e.g. a few drops in the vaporizer or similar) in environments discourages all kinds of parasites and insects from invading them. Frictionized (e.g. diluted in sweet almond oil) is a pesticide. It eliminates parasites of various types, from intestinal parasites (tapeworm) to those that affect the skin (scabies, lice, etc.) and cause dermatitis, on which it also has a healing effect. It helps to eliminate toxic residues from the body.

Invigorating - Inhaled (e.g. suffumigi, fumenti) is invigorating for the nervous system, has a stimulating and restorative action. Useful in cases of physical and mental fatigue, headaches, asthenia. It improves memory and brain activity, fighting insomnia and depression. Promotes intellectual activity and helps to work with greater commitment. Awakens intelligence, memory and the ability to concentrate.

Balsamic - helps to fluidify and expectorate phlegm from bronchi and lungs, it relieves congestion of the oral cavity, throat, lung and nasal mucous membranes. One of the elective remedies against coughs, bronchitis, whooping cough, otitis, sinusitis, colds, and colds.

Anti-inflammatory - Massaged (e.g. diluted in sweet almond oil) it is anti-inflammatory thanks to its analgesic action in case of rheumatic pains, arthritis, contusions, sprains and muscle tears.

Finally - Wonderful when there is a flu epidemic or you want to discourage any kind of parasite and insect from invading your home. Used in the treatment of whooping cough, warts, rheumatism, neuralgia, fatigue and respiratory disorders.
